"Clown World Journalism" is the best phrase I can think of to describe the difference between Wikileaks' scientific journalism and Wikipedia's obsession with secondary editorialized sources over hard facts. Wikipedia has a lot of problems, and the way that Wikileaks looks at journalism provides an interesting look into why Wikipedia has these problems. Biased sources, prejudiced editors, and a culture of complex gatekeeping have degenerated the once very usable site into being merely a mouthpiece for special interest establishment propaganda. ======LINKS====== All My Links: https://linktr.ee/mentiswave If you want to leave me a tip / support my content: https://ko-fi.com/mentiswave Follow me on Twitter for channel updates and general bantz: https://twitter.com/MentisWave My Discord: https://t.co/KenGzxdjDm Odysee Backup: https://odysee.com/@MentisWave:a Rumble Backup: https://rumble.com/c/c-1243074 ================= Music: Stargate by HurricaneTurtle https://hurricaneturtles.bandcamp.com Promoted by @RoyaltyFreePlanet - https://royaltyfreeplanet.com Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 http://bit.ly/RFP_CClicense SOURCEDUMP: Sites from the media mentioning Wikileaks: https://www.aclu.org/news/free-future/government-wins-right-pretend-cables-released-wikileaks-are-still-secret https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/wikileaks-cia-files-real-risk https://www.npr.org/2019/04/12/712659290/how-much-did-wikileaks-damage-u-s-national-security https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/08/opinion/can-we-trust-julian-assange-and-wikileaks.html https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/smart-facts/what-wikileaks-everything-you-need-know-n869556 https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-saudi-wikileaks/wikileaks-publishes-more-than-60000-leaked-diplomatic-cables-from-saudi-arabia-idUKKBN0OZ1OZ20150619 https://www.technologyreview.com/2010/12/09/120156/everything-you-need-to-know-about-wikileaks/ https://www.wired.co.uk/article/exposed-wikileaks-secret Wikileaks on Gamergate: https://twitter.com/search?q=Gamergate%20(from%3Awikileaks)&src=typed_query Gamergate: The Monster to Silence https://deepfreeze.it/article.php?a=monster Wikileaks articles Referenced: https://collateralmurder.wikileaks.org/ https://wikileaks.org/ciav7p1/ https://wikileaks.org/gitmo/ https://wikileaks.org/wiki/VP_contender_Sarah_Palin_hacked https://wikileaks.org//clinton-emails/ Wikipedia Bias: https://thecritic.co.uk/the-left-wing-bias-of-wikipedia/ https://www.aeaweb.org/conference/2012/retrieve.php?pdfid=297 http://fengzhu.info/BritannicaWikipedia.pdf https://stuartgeiger.com/papers/abs-rise-and-decline-wikipedia.pdf Wikipedia used to be Good: https://mises.org/library/wikipedia-what-it-good Co Founder Interview ( Full Video ): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0P4Cf0UCwU Funny video on Steven Crowder not being allowed to post anything on Wikipedia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv7s_ydrdHE
